Object: Read one book for each task for your desired level starting with October. Each month's books should be read in the month we are in. NO READING AHEAD!!!

6th: National Mad Hatter Day - Read a book with a hat on the cover (show cover).
11th: National Motorcycle Ride Day - Read a book where a character rides a motorcycle.
13th: Canadian Thanksgiving Day - Read a book set in Canada or by a Canadian author.
22nd: Caps Lock Day - Read a book whose title is in capital letters (show cover).
 
November
1st: National Bison Day - Read a book where the location begins with a letter in BISON (share location).
10th: USMC Day - Read a book where somebody was/is in the military.
16th: National Fast Food Day - Read a book where someone gets fast food.
27th: Thanksgiving (US) - Read a book set in the United States.
28th: Red Planet Day - Read a book where the main character's first name begins with a letter in MARS (share name).
 
December
4th: Wear Brown Shoes Day - Read a book where someone wears brown shoes.
9th: National Pastry Day - Read a book where a character eats a pastry.
12th: Poinsettia Day - Read a book with a poinsettia on the cover (show cover).
25th: Christmas Day - Read a book where Christmas is celebrated.
27th: Make Cut Out Snowflakes Day - Read a book with snow on the cover (show cover).
 
January
National Soup Month – Read a book where a character eats soup.
8th: Bubble Bath Day - Read a book where someone takes a bath.
12th: National Hot Tea Day – Read a book where hot tea is served.
26th: Australia Day – Read a book set in Australia.
31st: Backward Day – Read a book where you see a person from the back on the cover (show cover).

February
Creative Romance Month – Read a book tagged Romance.
6th: International Frozen Yogurt Day – Read a book where a frozen dessert is enjoyed
11th: White T-Shirt Day – Read a book where someone wears a T-shirt.
22nd: Walking the Dog Day – Read a book where a dog is walked.
25th: Pistol Patent Day – Read a book where a gun is used.
 
March
National Celery Month – Read a book with a green cover (show cover).
7th: National Cereal Day – Read a book where someone eats cereal.
10th: Middle Name Pride Day – Read a book whose author uses a middle name.
19th: Let’s Laugh Day – Read a book where someone laughs.
25th: International Waffle Day – Read a book where waffles are eaten.
 
April
2nd: Reconciliation Day - Read a book where there is a reconciliation.
4th: Tell a Lie Day - Read a book where someone tells a lie.
6th: Sorry Charlie Day - Read a book with a character/author named Charlie.
8th: International Be Kind to Lawyers Day - Read a book with a lawyer.
14th: Look up at the Sky Day – Read a book with the sky on the cover (show cover).

Mystery Month - Read a Mystery.
National Police Week - Read a book with a character in law enforcement.
2nd: National Fitness Day - Read a book where someone works out.
16th: Wear Purple for Peace Day - Read a book with a purple item on the cover (show cover).
18th: Visit Your Relatives Day - Read a book where relatives come to town.
 
June
Great Outdoors Month - Read a book where a character goes into the great outdoors - (wild places used for recreational activities such as hiking or camping; nature)
4th: Old Maid’s Day - Read a book where there is a woman still looking for the one.
10th: Ball Point Pen Day - Read a book where someone uses a pen.
15th: Smile Power Day - Read a book where a character smiles.
18th: National Splurge Day - Read a book where a character splurges on something.

National Picnic Month – Read a book where a picnic happens.
5th: International Bikini Day - Read a book where a character wears a bikini.
13th: National French Fries Day - Read a book where someone enjoys french fries.
15th: National Give Something Away Day - Read a book where someone gets a free thing.
25th: Culinarians Day - Read a book where someone enjoys cooking.
 
August
1st: National Girlfriends Day - Read a book where a bunch of females go out and have fun together.
9th: Middle Child’s Day – Read a book where a character has an older and younger sibling.
20th: National Bacon Lovers Day – Read a book where a character eats bacon.
23rd: Ride the Wind Day – Read a book where someone goes sailing.
